Teacher: Welcome Children! Today we are going to read a wonderful poem which tells us about the importance of words in our life. Let’s recite the poem ‘Truth’ written by Barrie wade.Sticks and Stones may break my bones, But words can also hurt me. Stones and sticks break only skin, While words are ghosts that haunt me. Here, the poet says: He gets hurt when he is attacked by sticks or stones, and it may break bones of any person. But when an individual is attacked by words, it hurts a lot. The words haunt like ghosts. The stones and sticks can only show bruises on skin which get healed after some time. But words hurt him more.
